It was like destiny when I met Miura Guitars. And when I played this MB-2, awesome! The balance is just great, it makes me wanna just keep playing.
The thickness of the first sound and it’s swiftness gives me many inspirations, creating new ideas in me that I never had. This is the “real” thing. I figured it was the most ideal instrument to me. Another thing I love is the Low-B string’s sound. It’s just amazing, it strikes right into my chest like a beam of light. After meeting this MB-2 with bunch of musical factors, I noticed selling my 5st bass and had a MB-2 in my hands.

The absolute Japan quality structure and America’s open range of melodies. I feel that it’s one of those rare instruments that have these 2 elements coexist in high standards. Especially, I like the melody of the instrument. The bursting sound ash holds gives a wide field of playability, I get the impression of being taught how to play by the instrument. It’s a bass that I want to keep playing, and I’m excited to see what kind of expression MB-2 will show me from now on.

When I first played the MB-2 it was just a shocking experience, I felt that this is the one, and only one. The tension, spacing of the strings, smoothness of the neck are all top quality. MB-2 is a fabulous instrument. Very comfortable it gives no stress, and has potential playability. It’s not too heavy, plus the EQ and tone of the preamp expands the range of sounds to create. I’d like everyone to tryout Miura guitars at least once. Twitter

The moment I played the MB-2 for the first time, I decided to purchase one. I felt the deep tone from its body to mine. Each string is balanced and the soft tension makes it comfortable to play . Since the sound is so pure, its easy to create nuance, thus it requires some delicate touch, which gave me a chance to learn and step up as an artist. Its stable sound melts into the song without being buried. Please try one out and see for yourself.

I had my MB-2 order placed at the bass clinic/order event held at Musicland Key in Osaka, Shinsaibashi. I asked for wine red with a custom Q-maple top for its looks. The sound is very dry, but its core is stable. The 5 strings sing nice and clear, and the tone’s really adjustable that I can use it for solos or backing just by setting the EQ. I can feel the instrument’s versatility. The sound rises quickly, it is lightweight, and I have no problem fingering in all position so it has supremely high playability. It wasn’t long till I change my main bass to MB-2. I’m honored, and very much appreciate having Mr. Hiroyuki Miura taking my order in person, making such a marvelous instrument for me.

To me, MB-2 is a bass that through music, picks up and releases what’s born inside me, stress free, just go along with the notes. When I use it in a band session, it fuses very well with the other instruments, yet also keeps a strong presence. I tried a few MB-2 to see the differences, but each one of them were so wonderful. It is like I chose a one that fits me the most out of the many.
